Projects
WCWC has two annual projects that each club member is encouraged to participate in. They are:
Club Friendship Cane
For this project, each club member makes a piece of the cane and it is then assembled in August as a symbol of friendship and unity.
Charity Ornaments
Every year West County Woodcarvers create a new and different ornament for sale to the public and then donates all proceeds to that year's selected charity. So far these projects have generated over $1,500 for local charities. Your support at our shows can help keep the success growing!

This Years Project
For this years charity (Circle of Concern in Valley Park) the club is creating 100 angels carved and painted by the club members and sequentially numbered. They will be offered for sale at our annual club show and at other shows participated in by the WCWC.
This Years Charity
Circle Of Concern operates a food pantry and provides long-term and emergency financial assistance for families in western St. Louis County. By doing so they create opportunities for needy families to re-establish themselves as productive members in our community and secure the overall health of our region. You can find more information about the organization at their web site www.circleofconcern.org.
